Konsep Diri Akademik sebagai Solusi Mengendalikan Kecemasan Berkomunikasi Peserta Didik

The purpose of the study is to connect academic concepts to the issues of students in the learning process. Participants are 31 students of class F (determined using total sampling technique. Data for`academic self-concept were collected using Academic Self-Concept Questionnaire from Woon C. Liu and Chee K. J. Wang. While data for communication apprehension were collected using the Personal Communication Apprehension Report from James C. McCroskey. Descriptive test results have proved that participants’ academic self-concept is high (83,33%) and participants’ communication apprehension is quite sufficient (48,39%). Participants with high academic self-concept more easily controlled the apprehension in learning process, including group discussion, meeting, interpersonal, and public speaking.
